The year 2008 can best be described as another year of marvelous success for Exim Bank. It has indeed proved to be a milestone year with a remarkable growth in the assets, deposits and profits.

* The bank recorded an incredible growth of 21.47% in profits from TZS 8.7 billion in 2007 to TZS 10.5 billion in 2008.
* Deposit swelled to TZS 367.7 billion in 2008 from TZS 296.4 billion in 2007 recording an increase of 24.04%
* The loan portfolio increased from TZS. 162.2 billion in the year 2007 to TZS. 201.2 billion in 2008.
